- After much fiddling about with DataTypes, without the benefit of any
- AutoDocs, I've come up with my own version of the sound.datatype. It's a
- near-complete reproduction of the AmigaOS 3.1 sound.datatype, with a few nice
- extras thrown in. The one feature it is missing, no one has used so far, so
- I think no one will miss it yet. (And I lack the documentation required to
- implement it correctly.) At this point, it runs beautifully on my machine,
- with all programs that use DataTypes, including Multiview, Prefs, term,
- Voodoo, Fiasco, and others.
- Now I'd like to find out if it works on other configurations as well, and
- maybe get a little feedback on features. This release will be freeware, so
- there's no compensation involved, aside from the satisfaction of helping to
- add more software to Aminet's growing collection.
- If anybody wishes to help out, just drop me an e-mail with your machine
- configuration. Oddball configurations, and/or DataTypes knowledge a plus.
- (Obviously, you need AmigaOS 3.0 or higher.)
- Thanks!
