  14.    After much fiddling about with DataTypes, without the benefit of any
  15. AutoDocs, I've come up with my own version of the sound.datatype.  It's a
  16. near-complete reproduction of the AmigaOS 3.1 sound.datatype, with a few nice
  17. extras thrown in.  The one feature it is missing, no one has used so far, so
  18. I think no one will miss it yet.  (And I lack the documentation required to
  19. implement it correctly.)  At this point, it runs beautifully on my machine,
  20. with all programs that use DataTypes, including Multiview, Prefs, term,
  21. Voodoo, Fiasco, and others.
  22.    Now I'd like to find out if it works on other configurations as well, and
  23. maybe get a little feedback on features.  This release will be freeware, so
  24. there's no compensation involved, aside from the satisfaction of helping to
  25. add more software to Aminet's growing collection.
  26.    If anybody wishes to help out, just drop me an e-mail with your machine
  27. configuration.  Oddball configurations, and/or DataTypes knowledge a plus.
